Nusuk Hajj is the official online portal of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah — the sole digital gateway through which pilgrims from designated serviced countries can purchase their Hajj packages. If you are a resident or national of one of these serviced countries, Nusuk Hajj is the only authorized website for booking your Hajj package.

No. The Nusuk app handles Umrah and Rawdah bookings and other year-round services, while Nusuk Hajj is a browser-only website specifically for Hajj registration and package purchases for eligible international pilgrims. You must book your Hajj package on the Nusuk Hajj website.

Nusuk is an official platform run by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. Service providers are companies based in Saudi Arabia authorized to sell Hajj packages on Nusuk. Noor Al-Fajr works in partnership with these providers to assist pilgrims throughout their journey — helping with the Nusuk registration process, providing guidance on selecting packages, and offering English-language support during Hajj. Noor Al-Fajr is not directly affiliated with Nusuk.

You are welcome to contact our Pilgrim Support Team with any Nusuk-related questions. With years of experience assisting pilgrims, we can often help resolve common issues directly.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced that the verification and registration process for Hajj 2026 on Nusuk is set to begin October 7. To stay informed, you can pre-register with Noor Al-Fajr and join our Telegram group for real-time updates and guidance.

Watch our step-by-step video on the Noor Al-Fajr YouTube channel. A refreshed version for Hajj 2026 will be available soon.

Before applying on Nusuk, please have the following documents ready:

  • Passport: A clear photo of the information page. (Important: Your passport must be valid through December 2026.)
  • Passport-size photo: Ensure clothing follows Islamic modesty guidelines.
  • Visa or Residency Document: For example, a Green Card (if applicable).
  • Vaccination records
  • Travel history: Details of countries visited over the past 5 years, including dates

Accounts created for Hajj 2024 were valid for the Hajj 2025 season. Based on this, we expect Hajj 2025 accounts to remain valid for Hajj 2026 once the platform opens. You may need to log in, update certain sections (such as medical and travel information), and complete re-verification. Stay connected with our team via the pre-registration form and Telegram group for the latest updates.

Yes, you can add family members to your Nusuk account, after completing your registration application, as depicted in our video guide. Please contact us if you need help with this process.

Your passport must be valid for at least six months after your Hajj travel, which means the expiration date should be after January 1, 2027. If your passport expires before December 2026, it is important to renew it as soon as possible to ensure eligibility for registration.

No — the Hajj 2026 registration process has just begun, so you have plenty of time. We recommend completing your account setup and registration by December 2025 to ensure a smooth experience during the sales period.

You can use an image resizer tool to adjust your photo or passport image to the required dimensions. Previous Nusuk requirements have been:

Passport photo: 800px × 400px, up to 1 MB

Portrait photo: 200px × 200px, up to 18 KB

Important: Ensure your passport number is clearly visible in the image to avoid rejection during upload

Based on the Umm Al-Qura Islamic Calendar, the expected dates for Hajj 2026 are:

  • Last day for entering Saudi Arabia (international flights): May 21, 2026 (Dhul-Hijjah 4)
  • Day of Arafah: May 26, 2026 (Dhul-Hijjah 9)
  • First day for departing Saudi Arabia: May 31, 2026 (Dhul-Hijjah 14)
  • Travel window for most popular packages: May 13 – June 6, 2026
  • Official travel window: To be announced by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah

During the Hajj 2025 season, users were able to delete accounts created within the same year after withdrawing any remaining balance from their eWallet and unlinking all family members. This would permanently erase all data linked to the account.

However, accounts created in previous years could not be deleted. We’re waiting to see if this same policy will apply for Hajj 2026.

You can add up to 7 family members (8 pilgrims total) per account. For families traveling together, we recommend registering everyone under one account.

The primary family member can add additional family members to their account once their own application is complete. Each added family member will need a unique email address, which allows them to log into their individual account. However, major controls, including purchasing the Hajj package, remain with the primary account holder. Family members can be linked or delinked after account creation, as shown in our video tutorial.

Once the process starts, timelines can vary depending on when you submit your application. Accounts may be verified within a few days to a few weeks, so don’t worry if it takes some time.

Don’t worry — it happens! Most rejections are easily resolvable. The most common reasons for verification issues include:

  • Problems with your passport or residency documents: This could include an expired visa, blurry image, or a mismatch between your documents and the information you entered.
  • Issues with your passport photo: Your photo may be rejected if it’s blurry, has glare, or doesn’t meet the required size or quality standards.

If you continue to experience issues with getting your account verified, feel free to schedule an appointment with our Pilgrim Support Team for step-by-step help, or contact Nusuk Support directly for assistance.

No — verification simply means your account is approved and ready for the next step in the process. You will still need to select and purchase a Hajj package during the official sales period to secure your spot.

Think of it like creating an Amazon account — you need one to make a purchase, but having an account doesn’t mean you’ve bought anything yet!

No — all Hajj package payments must be made directly through the official Nusuk platform. Any individual or organization requesting payment outside of Nusuk is acting against the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s policies and cannot guarantee you a spot for Hajj. For your safety and peace of mind, please do not make any payments outside of Nusuk.

To activate your e-wallet, simply add funds either by credit or debit card or through a bank transfer. We recommend sending a small test transaction (for example, 10 SAR) to confirm that your e-wallet is functioning properly before making larger payments.

Please note that the e-wallet can only be activated once all individuals on your account have been verified and Nusuk has officially opened the e-wallet feature for the season.

Yes — you can use a combination of bank transfers and credit or debit card payments to top up your e-wallet. You may also use multiple cards or bank accounts if needed; Nusuk allows flexibility in how you fund your e-wallet.

Nusuk itself does not charge any fees for adding funds to your e-wallet. However, because Nusuk is a Saudi-based platform, all U.S.-based banks and credit card companies will treat transactions as international. Depending on your financial institution, you could incur foreign transaction fees, bank transfer charges, or currency exchange rate differences.

We recommend using a credit card that offers 0% foreign transaction fees to help minimize additional costs on your Hajj package.

It’s best to keep enough funds in your e-wallet to comfortably cover the cost of your chosen Hajj package. Since packages are typically first come, first served, having sufficient funds ensures you can secure your preferred option without delay.

However, avoid adding excessively large amounts, as requesting a refund may incur a small processing fee. We recommend keeping no more than a few hundred Saudi Riyal above the cost of your top 5 package choices.

You can use credit or debit cards to add funds to your e-wallet. Bank transfers are also possible, though they may take longer to process. Since payments are processed in Saudi Arabian Riyals (SAR), we recommend using a credit card with low or no foreign transaction fees to minimize additional costs.

Most Visa and Mastercard credit card products are compatible with Nusuk. Popular options include:

  • Chase Sapphire
  • Chase Southwest Card
  • Costco Citi
  • Wells Fargo
  • Capital One
  • Bank of America

Cards like Starling, Monzo, and Revolut are known for favorable exchange rates and low fees. For U.S. customers, Chase cards and the Apple Card (no foreign transaction fees, no annual fees) are often recommended.

Ultimately, the best card depends on your individual needs and the terms and conditions of your card.

As the main account holder, you act as the family administrator, and all payments for your family members’ packages are made through your e-wallet. You can add funds using your credit cards, debit cards, or bank transfers. We recommend using your e-wallet exclusively for all Hajj-related payments to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

In past years, e-wallet funds could not be carried over to future Hajj seasons. For Hajj 2026, this policy is expected to remain the same, so unused funds would need to be withdrawn.

If your payment is declined, there are a few common causes and steps to resolve it:

  1. Check your information – Make sure all credit card details are entered correctly on the Nusuk website.
  2. Try a smaller amount – If you were attempting a large top-up, start with a small test amount (e.g., 10 SAR) to ensure your card is accepted.
  3. 3D Secure / Secondary security feature – Many declines are caused by the card’s built-in online protection, called 3D Secure (or its equivalent):
    • Bank of America: 3D Secure, 1-877-388-6581
    • Chase: Verify by VISA, 1-800-654-9214
    • Other banks: Check the number on the back of your card or search online for your card’s 3D Secure service
  4. Steps:
    • Call the 3D Secure number for your bank.
    • Ask to speak to a representative about the online transaction — explain it’s an international charge via Nusuk.
    • Verify your identity as requested.
    • Once approved, attempt the purchase again while on the phone with the representative, so the transaction is processed immediately.

Note: General customer service or fraud department agents may not be familiar with 3D Secure. You may need to ask for the correct department or speak to multiple representatives.

If you continue to experience difficulties, our call center is available to guide you through the process. Many pilgrims have successfully resolved this issue with our support.

When you select the bank transfer option in Nusuk, it only provides the banking information you’ll need to complete your transfer — it does not automatically initiate the transfer. You must submit the transfer either online through your bank or in person at your bank branch using the unique IBAN associated with your Nusuk account.

Once submitted, it can take several business days for your transfer to appear in Nusuk. Keep in mind that Friday and Saturday are weekends in Saudi Arabia, which may affect processing times.

If it has been more than 10 business days, we recommend opening a ticket with Nusuk Customer Service for assistance.

1.Access your wallet:

  • Log into your Nusuk account and click the “View Wallet” button on your e-wallet card on the main dashboard, or
  • Click the icon next to your name (top right), select “My Profile”, then choose “My Wallet”.

2.Request a refund:

    • On the “My Wallet” page, click the “Withdraw” button next to your current balance.

Important: Refund requests are final. You cannot reverse a refund once submitted, and partial withdrawals are not allowed — the full balance will be withdrawn.

There are two main factors that can affect your refund amount:

  1. Currency Exchange Rates – Payments to Nusuk are made in SAR but funded in your local currency (e.g., USD). When Nusuk processes a refund, your financial institution converts SAR back to your currency, which can result in a small loss due to the exchange rate difference.
  2. . Nusuk Processing Fees – Nusuk applies a refund processing fee and VAT, which is approximately 2.76% of the refunded amount. This fee is disclosed when topping up your e-wallet. For the Hajj 2025 season, there was a 10-day grace period for refunds, but this has not yet been confirmed for Hajj 2026.

Nusuk does not provide an official refund timeline. Based on past pilgrim experiences, refunds can take anywhere from a few business days to several weeks.

  • Bank transfers typically take longer than credit or debit card transactions.
  • Chargebacks with your financial institution can also delay processing.

If it has been more than a month, we recommend opening a ticket with Nusuk Customer Service for assistance.

Hajj 2026 packages are typically published for review a few weeks before the sales period begins.

To stay up to date, pre-register with Noor Al-Fajr and join our Telegram group for real-time updates, guidance, and notifications as soon as packages are available.

Nusuk offers two types of Hajj packages:

  1. Country-Specific Packages – These include flights from your country of residence.
  2. Global Packages – Open to pilgrims from multiple countries. You’ll need to select your flights during the checkout process.

Regardless of the package type, selecting a flight is required to complete your Hajj package purchase.

If your travel companions reside outside Nusuk’s serviced countries, they cannot join the same package.

If everyone lives in Nusuk serviced countries, it’s possible to purchase the same global package and meet in Saudi Arabia.

Important: Pilgrims from different countries cannot be added to a single Nusuk account, even if traveling on the same package.

Non-Shifting Packages

  • Stay in the same hotel throughout your time in Makkah, including during Manasik (ritual) days.
  • Often preferred by elderly pilgrims or those who want a consistent location.

Shifting Packages

  • Stay in a hotel near the Haram on non-Manasik days.
  • Move to a different hotel during Manasik days, often in Aziziyah, closer to the Jamarat.

Typically more affordable and offer a slightly different travel experience.

Package groupings are based on hotel ratings:

  • Luxury: 5-star hotels
  • Premium: 4-star hotels
  • Standard: 3-star hotels or residential buildings

While not guaranteed, higher-rated hotels often correlate with closer proximity to the Haram. Luxury hotels provide elevated comfort, amenities, and service, though they may differ from what you’re used to in your home country. Premium and Standard packages may include shuttle services for hotels farther from the Haram—details should be confirmed with the service provider.

Important Notes:

  • Hotel star ratings in Makkah may differ from your home country’s standards.
  • Even short walking distances can feel longer due to crowds and heat during Hajj.

Hajj is a deeply rewarding but physically demanding journey, which is why it is obligatory only for those who are able to perform it. While no package can completely remove the challenges, Luxury non-shifting packages in hotels closest to the Haram are often preferred by pilgrims with mobility concerns.

Many families also find it helpful for younger companions to travel alongside elderly pilgrims, offering support and assistance so they can focus on the spiritual experience of their journey.

When browsing packages on Nusuk, the starting price is shown initially. The final price, which includes your selected room occupancy, flights, and other options, will appear once you configure your package and add it to your cart.

For convenience, Noor Al-Fajr provides a helpful guide closer to the sales period to help you understand all costs. You can check our website or stay connected with us via Telegram for updates.

During the days of Manasik, men and women are segregated, with designated meeting points. Family members of the same gender who are traveling on the same package can have beds within the same rooms.

Most packages do not include Hady by default. You can check the ‘Additional Services’ section on the package description page to confirm. This service is widely available and can be purchased either before arriving in Saudi Arabia or once you are there.

Hajj packages generally include:

  • Accommodation in Makkah and Madinah
  • Half board meals (breakfast and dinner)
  • Transportation between cities and during the days of Manasik
  • Guidance and support from experienced group leaders and scholars

Aziziyah is a district in Makkah located close to Jamarat, with many hotels within a 10–15 minute walk from Jamarat Plaza. In shifting and standard Hajj packages, pilgrims often stay in Aziziyah during the days of Manasik. This location provides easier access to Jamarat and offers a more comfortable and convenient stay during these busy days.

You may have heard terms like “Category A” or “Category C” when referring to Mina tents — however, these classifications don’t apply to packages sold on the Nusuk platform. Instead, Mina accommodations are divided into two main camps:

Majr Al-Kabsh Camp: Located closer to the Jamarat Bridge, this camp offers greater convenience but has very limited availability, with space for around 5,000 pilgrims.

Al-Muaisim Camp: Situated farther from Jamarat, this larger camp can accommodate up to 30,000 pilgrims. Most Nusuk pilgrims will stay here during the days of Hajj.

Makkah is divided into several zones to help pilgrims easily understand how close their accommodations are to the Haram:

Zone A: The closest zone — hotels here are within walking distance of the Haram.

Zone B: Surrounds Zone A. Some hotels may still be walkable (around 15+ minutes), though most will require a shuttle or taxi.

Zone C: Located farther out, with accommodations that almost always require shuttle or taxi service to reach the Haram.

Zone M: Refers to areas closer to the sacred Mashair sites (Mina, Muzdalifah, and Arafat) — including neighborhoods like Aziziyah.

Sales are tentatively expected to begin in January 2026, though this timeline is subject to change based on the Ministry of Hajj & Umrah’s official announcements. The best way to stay informed is by joining our Telegram group, where we share real-time updates as soon as new information becomes available.

In order to accommodate pilgrims comfortably, the Ministry of Hajj & Umrah assigns each country a specific quota of Hajj visas. Many countries, including the United States, experience significantly higher demand than the number of visas available.

In previous years, the U.S. quota was reached within just 15 minutes of sales opening. It is therefore essential to stay alert and informed about the exact launch time.

To ensure you don’t miss updates, pre-register with Noor Al-Fajr and join our Telegram group for real-time alerts and guidance.

While no one can guarantee a Hajj package, the following steps have historically helped pilgrims secure their preferred option:

  • Ensure your e-wallet is topped up with the full amount for your desired package.
  • Pre-configure your package and have it ready in your cart before sales begin.
  • Select a package that includes a flight.
  • Opt for a package in Al-Muaisim Camp if available.

Of course, the power of Dua and Allah’s timing should never be underestimated during this process.

For high-demand countries like the U.S., quotas often fill on the first day of sales. Any additional rounds depend entirely on availability and the Ministry’s decision and are not guaranteed. Staying connected via our Telegram group is the best way to receive real-time updates on any secondary rounds.

The most reliable way to confirm is to check whether your e-wallet was deducted for the package amount. While you may normally receive a confirmation email, in some cases pilgrims have not received one at all. Keep in mind that it also takes time for the purchase information to reach Noor Al-Fajr, so we are not able to immediately confirm your purchase.

Occasionally, discrepancies like this appear on Nusuk. This is usually a website glitch, and the information provided to you before sales is the correct reference. For example, if your package included accommodation in the Clock Tower, you are indeed within Zone A, regardless of what Nusuk may display. You can also confirm with your service provider or local partner if you have concerns.

In most cases, Hajj packages cannot be modified after purchase. Common questions we receive include changing flight dates or departure cities, upgrading hotels or Mina camps, and adjusting transportation options. In rare situations, it may be possible to upgrade hotel room occupancy for a fee, but this can only be determined once sales have concluded for the Hajj season.

We’re sorry to hear that! Nusuk has historically maintained a strict cancellation policy with specific deadlines. While the exact policy and calendar for Hajj 2026 have not yet been announced, it is expected to be similar to previous years. Depending on when you cancel, your refund may be partial or unavailable. To cancel, you must log in to your Nusuk account and submit a cancellation request directly through the platform.

Yes! To do so safely, watch our video tutorial and make sure you are using the withdrawal button on the “My Wallet” page to request a refund of your remaining balance. Be careful not to accidentally request a refund (cancellation) of your Hajj reservation.

If you have secured a Hajj package through Nusuk, your Hajj visa is included and in most instances automatically issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA). Once issued, it will be uploaded to your Nusuk account. Please note that MoFA processes over a million visas, so this may take time and continues up until the start of Hajj.

Vaccination Requirements for Pilgrims
For pilgrims traveling from the U.S., the Saudi government requires the following:

“Visitors arriving for the purpose of Umrah or pilgrimage (Hajj) must submit a certificate of vaccination with the quadrivalent (ACYW135) vaccine against meningitis, issued no more than 3 years and no less than 10 days before arrival in Saudi Arabia.”

For additional information and country-specific guidelines, please consult the Ministry of Health’s official guidance.

Rest assured, you’ll have ample time and opportunity to fulfill this obligation. There are two main ways to do so:

Option 1: Purchase directly from the official Adahi website. Adahi is a Saudi government project that oversees sacrifices. You can purchase your Hady /Sacrifice online directly from them closer to Hajj.

Option 2: Purchase through one of Adahi’s official retailers while in Saudi Arabia. Convenient kiosks are located within the Clock Tower, and they accept both Visa credit cards and Saudi cash.

Question #8: If I don’t use my e-wallet funds for Hajj this year, can I keep the money for next year?

In past years, e-wallet funds could not be carried over to future Hajj seasons. For Hajj 2026, this policy is expected to remain the same, so unused funds would need to be withdrawn.

Topping-up Trouble Shooting

Refund Resolutions

1:Access your wallet:

  • Log into your Nusuk account and click the “View Wallet” button on your e-wallet card on the main dashboard, or
  • Click the icon next to your name (top right), select “My Profile”, then choose “My Wallet”.

2:Request a refund:

  • On the “My Wallet” page, click the “Withdraw” button next to your current balance.

Important: Refund requests are final. You cannot reverse a refund once submitted, and partial withdrawals are not allowed — the full balance will be withdrawn.

There are two main factors that can affect your refund amount:

  1. Currency Exchange Rates – Payments to Nusuk are made in SAR but funded in your local currency (e.g., USD). When Nusuk processes a refund, your financial institution converts SAR back to your currency, which can result in a small loss due to the exchange rate difference.

Packages

Sales
