What I had once only heard in classrooms and read in books unfolded before me in living color. As I walked between Ṣafā and Marwa, I could almost feel Hājar’s desperate footsteps in search of water. At Jabal Thawr, I imagined the stillness of the cave where the Prophet ﷺ placed his trust in Allah. And in Madinah, I heard in my heart the voices of the Anṣār singing Ṭala‘ al-Badru ‘Alaynā, welcoming him with love and devotion.
In the way only a child’s imagination can, I placed myself in those moments, walking through the stories of our faith as if I belonged to them. Those early journeys planted the seeds of a lifelong passion — for the holy lands, for Islamic history, and for travel that touches both the heart and the soul.
We believe travel should do more than take you
from place to place — it should inspire reflection, spark learning,
and create memories that last a lifetime.
By the age of eighteen, I was privileged to perform my Fardh Hajj, and later had the honor of guiding others. With every first-time pilgrim I accompanied, I relived my own experiences, and being part of their journey deepened my love for our shared faith. That shared bond, along with a desire to serve in the path of Allah, is the foundation of Noor Al-Fajr.
The name itself is deeply personal to my family: Noor Al-Fajr weaves together the name of my late sister, Fajr, and my own. It means ‘Light of the Dawn’ in Arabic, symbolizing guidance, new beginnings, and the light we strive to shine on every traveler’s path.
Every program we offer and every publication we produce is born from this belief:
